9.46pm M'sian time - A lesson in USDCAD!!!

I was pleasantly surprised when I returned from dinner and I saw this on my charts....yay.....floating profit about to hit TP....hahahahaha....THEN THIS HAPPENED..............................

I tried to close the trade in profit when the NFP came out much better than expected but I experienced slippage and lost 57 cents....then I performed a quick scalp and covered the small loss....Still, I would have much more profit had I closed the trade before the news.....NOTE TO SELF : NEVER GAMBLE IN FRONT OF A KEY NEWS RELEASE
